Raju Durshettiwar

Raju Durshettiwar, hailing from Maharashtra, discovered his passion for painting early in life. After obtaining his B.F.A from Nagpur College of Arts, he made Cholamandal Artists Village in Chennai his home. Durshettiwar's artistic process involves layering to construct tones and dissolve forms, drawing inspiration from the vibrant metropolis of Chennai. His artworks go beyond formal elements, prompting viewers to contextualize them through his expressive strokes and vibrant colour palette.
