V. Anamika

V. Anamika, an artist residing in Chennai, is a graduate of the Government College of Fine Arts under the tutelage of S. Dhanapal. Her accolades include prestigious awards such as the 55th National Exhibition of Art Lalit Kala Akademi Award (2014), the Audi Ritz Icon Award in Chennai (2011), and the Charles Wallace India Trust Award (2010–11). She furthered her artistic journey with a visiting scholarship to the UK, where she studied Enameling art at the University of the West of England, and received a Visiting Artist Award for a printmaking residency in 1997 at Edinburgh Printmakers Studio. Anamika's artworks serve as personal anecdotes of her self-discovery journey, initiating meaningful conversations and delving into profound depths of exploration.
