International Women’s Day honours the women who have paved the path towards our progress and struggled to take ‘womanhood’ to the level where it is now. Unfortunately, at the same time, the day is a reminder of the discrimination and inequality that still continues to plague our society. This special day, dedicated to women around the world, is a celebration of the great success of women across all spheres of life as well as shaping the future. On this special occasion, we thought of at least greeting a few who have been associated, acquainted and travelled with us namely, Annuradha Malik, Devipriya Vimalanathan, Dimple B Shah, Nalini Malaviya, Prof. M.J. Kamalakshi, Poornima Vaidyabathab, Shan Re, Shraddha Rathi, Shirley Mathew, and Sudha Manohar.

The concept of this show is to amalgamate and give opportunity to the real talented women artists who have been unnoticed. The pandemic has taught all of us many lessons. Art Houz has taken a few initiatives to accomplish their set goals. One such is to promote artists from various states. Initiating with I RISE, Edition VIII, there are 10 artists from different parts of India, namely Dr Anita HC, Bharathi Sendhilvelan, Kayalvizhi Sethukarasu, Meenakshi Sadalagi, Nayana Baburao, Pooja SI, Sharmila Kadam, Dr.Sunita Patil, Tejal Patel and Yugashri SA who have put up their expression of emotions, dreams, spirits, etc. in different forms of mediums, we have 50 artworks on display. We present the viewer with an eclectic array of artworks in varied mediums ranging from Paintings in Acrylics and Oils, Charcoal, Dry Pastel, Drawings, Pen on paper, Water colours.
